Not much to do now but wait
Hurrican Ian is on its way. This is not my first hurricane, but its my first one with kids who are not babies and dont understand what is going on. Aiden was only 3 months old when Irma came through and that was rough back then. I can only begin to think how bad its going to be with the kids all a bit older who already freak out during a daily thunderstorms.
I am so glad to be home with them and be around them again i was really missing them. My mom watched them for a few hours and hubby & i did what hurrican preparedness we could do. We went to go costco & got gas, some new battrries for the flashlights and a couple of other things, i was able to pretty much get everything we need between Costco and publix except for some chips.
Hubby got the yard prepared and shutters up & ready for the worst. Currently working on some food preps and getting the house a bit cleaned up while taking it easy.
Not much else for us to do, ill be doing some more stuff tomorrow but i think we are all set.
