That's amazing!

How can a total amateur get into hunting and fishing?

I looked on the web for our local federation of anglers and hunters, it's in a different city from where I live. Unfortunately, I don't drive or own a vehicle.

The other Question that I have is: Do hunters ever sell (some of) the meat they have hunted?
I am looking to save on my grocery bill at this time of inflation and possibly even higher inflation that may happen.
But also , most importantly, I am fixing to be able to have actual food for my family. I have to have meat in my diet, unfortunately I can't subsist on grass and dirt, due to health issues.

We are being told there are going to be diesel shortages.
Trucks need diesel. Trucks deliver all of our goods, things we require for subsistence , most importantly, food!
Things could be worse than just a toilet paper shortage.

On a plus note my parents were very avid fishermen, all seasons.
However, I know of no one who hunts.

Thanks. L.
