I will always have fond memories of the Calamity Brook trail to the peak of Mt. Marcy in the Adirondacks , in New York.
This summer I hiked the Navajo Ridge trail in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah, and I thought it was fantastic.
And, far less spectacular than either but closer to where I now live, there is the Ironwood trail in Maplewood State Park in Minnesota. What's interesting about it is that it weaves in and out of two biomes: prairie grass and hardwood forests.
