You freeze them just like that?
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
@Miram yes in a good plastic freezer bag. They still suffer in consistency so in using them later it is best as a salsa or something similar. They will have great flavor and heat, but no longer a real bite into pepper for poppers or anything like that.

Good crop you have there.

Thanks, they have done well, have several jars of salsa and filling my freezer up too. Hot peppers are redictously easy to grow in Georgia. Still have a lot more to harvest and have not loss many to pests this season.

Going to freeze most for now, make salsa with them probably, jalapeño and serrano peppers here, have habanero plant doing ok with maybe 2 or 3 more harvests to go. Would have more, but with so many I really want to wait and only harvest them when completely red when I will be home to check on them every day.
