Out of infinitely many universes, I don't see why God wouldn't sometimes come as an animal. We got a good deal with the Bible, better than is often credited the thing in secular circles, which are necessarily void of any real sympathy for the healing potential of it. God came as a Jew, and who knows what his successor will come as.
