Due to the really bad weather, I decided to see if my 83 yr old neighbour needed anything from the local shop. She did. So I gave her my list.

She has more experience in bad weather so it's better for her to go

It's for the best. She needs to stay active and moving around for the good of her health

Plus it probably makes her feel useful.

Leave the lawn mower out so when she gets back, you can have a nice little cup of tea while you watch her, pushing it around the lawn.
