Due to the really bad weather, I decided to see if my 83 yr old neighbour needed anything from the local shop. She did. So I gave her my list.

She has more experience in bad weather so it's better for her to go

It's for the best. She needs to stay active and moving around for the good of her health

Plus it probably makes her feel useful.

Reminds me of the old French woman I saw in Montreal back in 2009. She was trudging through the snowfall and swearing at every car that passed by. 🤔

She would probably be offended if you didn’t ask her to pick up a few things.
