I saw my first firefly tonight

They seem to come out to mate during the first hot days of summer up here. Havent seen them yet….must still be wearing their winter coats. 😂

Lucky you. They used to fill the summer nights here, now they're rarely seen. :(

Tons of fireflies where I live

You are so fortunate to have them where you are. I never saw them in my state (California) but I used to see them when I visited my grandparents in Louisiana. My cousins who still live there say they never see fireflies anymore.
