Most memorable time was 1981 November... the Atlantic Conveyor was being loaded on her way to the falklands... epic ship

Drakes legacy at Plymouth against the Spanish armada was historical

Those Spanish ships fled north in the English Chanel and went west of Ireland and many ended up destroyed along our coast in west Clare

Many sailors who survived stayed and the main ship sunk off Spanish point in west Clare

Plymouth is steeped in history, there’s also the Pilgrim Fathers/Mayflower Steps
