I think I should Monitor Earthquakes

Just for two certain areas between California coast and La Palma Island.

if either of these natural events happened, get the F out of the coast areas and run all the way to the mountains or, leave far away and not looking back.
I will be the signal caller.

although, the East Coast will have a better chance to survive the Tsunami since it will only takes 7 hours to hit the east coast.

California's coast. between 15 to 20 minutes, even though the waves won't be bigger than the East Coast. Still Dangerous.

don't worry, this is not a Emergency, just letting you know if these natural disasters accured right away.

How would you monitor earthquakes as they occur and predict impending ones?

A tsunami occurs only if the epicentre of the earthquake is on the sea-bed; though I think that is what you are considering.

How would a wave originating on the Californian coast affect the East Coast of North America? A very large tsunami migh travel around the world in the Southern Hemisphere, but surely any of it that manages by diffraction round Cape Horn to reach North America's Atlantic coast would be insignificant?

When Mt. Krakatau erupted so violently in 1883, in a gigantic explosion below the sea surface, the resulting wave even reached South-West England but there, it was only a very small, harmless swell picked up on tide-recorders - even assuming it had been identified correctly.

@ArishMell there are 24/7 live channels I can get it from. I recently join one of their group so I can get notifications in certain Areas I requested. Simple as that.
