Are you going to camp someplace permanently? The huge tents only work if you can! Smaller is way easier if you will be moving around!
Also, you can keep a dome tent for two people warm with body heat, even by yourself, and you can put a decent bed or cot in there and blankets and a sleeping bag, and you can place your nighttime portable toilet at the entry.
The tents you showed probably need two people just to put them up - people in good shape! You could save a lot of effort with a two man pop up tent. Home and dry in sixty seconds!

Idk where you’re living and what temps you are experiencing, but I would get one that doesn’t have a main focus on “mesh windows and open feel”
I know they have a way to seal all of those “windows”, but I have been camping and if those flaps are letting any air in at all, you will be cold unless you tarp the top as well.
If it’s just you, I would get a single person tent. Much easier to set up and put away, and it’s cozier for heat/warmth.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. 🫂

Are you living in a snow covered state or nah? If you're not you might wanna consider going to a warm state, cause you can freeze to death in snow, in Cali you can get general relief money for like 6 months & food stamps.

Being outside in freezing condition can be brutal, if you have nothing to lose why not try California or Florida?

How can you survive going from a nursing home to living in a tent on the streets during the winter?
Werewolf1994 · 31-35, F
@cherokeepatti Easy just find A walmart or something to hang out in during the day and at night start a fire or warming shelter

They can't kick you out of a nursing home onto the Street. Talk to a lawyer
