You could buy a tent, but that limits you, unless you buy a real heavy canvas tent that can handle the weight of snow and handle the heat of wood stove.

But you could buy a motorhome, thats another idea. Its keep you portable and drive from one truck stop to another

I did survivalist training and lived in the wild. What your thinking about doing is not going to be easy. You'll be putting your life at risk

I would say I good pair of waterproof insulated boots and if in the witer then maybe snowpants and a jacket along with gloves and hats
