I Love Camping

Had the time of my life camping for my birthday with my twin sis and friends. We stayed in a cabin for 3 days at Allegany state park. Absolutely amazing place! I had my tent up at the campsite but was so terrified of the very many black bears around after seeing one while hiking... So I slept in my rustic cabin for safely lol.. It was so fun roughing it. Our cabin did not have a anything but two huge comfy cots, fridge and stove. No bathroom, no shower, no running water and no internet or cell phone service which was amazing. Walking to use the bathroom in the pitch black while hearing and seeing the wild life ( glowing eyes at night) was so exciting. Pumping water, bonfires, chopping fire wood, sleeping under the stars or in my case passing out drunk under the stars was absolutely incredible. Went kayaking, hiking up a forbidden trail up the mountains alone to watch a breathtaking sun rise while brinf terrified of bears. Got drunk with my twin sis and we stripped and ran into the lake and got caught by the park police officer that later became a great new friend of ours. Rented bikes and nearly died zooming down hill on them. Fishing only lasted 15 mins until we got bored and went back to our cabin to drink and tell stupid jokes and act like teenagers around the fire. The best birthday ever and that was only half of it. We will be camping for our birthday from now on but for an entire week. Back in NYC hating it now lol
