When I miss you most of all, my darling....

Fall is the very hardest for me. It always has been... particularly now that I'm older. Even now I'm beginning to wish on the eve of fall, I had someone to walk in the woods with me and enjoy all of God's beautiful handiwork. I miss that so much. All the sights and sounds, and it's a shame, because I love walking in the woods so much, but have no one to walk with me. It's really tough on me. And each year it's the same thing, longing so much for that. It really hurts. Wish I could go out today and walk with someone, a companion male friend and just enjoy the beautiful woods. I've not had that since 2010 and that's a very long time.

Wishing You Were Here

im sitting in the sand on the beach
the waves are crashing as high tide come in
im thinking of you at this very momment
wishing you was here.

as a big wave crashes and the wind blows my hair
i come back to earth for a minute
seagulls fly by
wishing you was here

i stand look around no ones here
the morning is beatiful
as i wade in the water
wishing you was here

i look down as the waves and water tickle my toes
i find a sharks tooth
as the waves pull the sand back out
wishing you was here

i lay down in the sand
and look up at the clouds
as they slowly drift by
wishing you was here

i close my eyes as i listen
the seagulls.the waves.the breeze.the smell
its so beautiful.as tears roll from my eyes
wishing you was here
