It really depends on one's latitude / climate, but in the 4 seasons climates I am used too (which tend to have hot humid summers), this is my order of preference
- Spring is my favorite because it perfectly embodies growth, rebirth, vibrancy, vitality, greening out of plants and the smell of new flower blooming, breezes (gentle or stiff) and it's the ideal balance of temperature as well, not too hot or cold ... if this planet had no seasons, this is the climate latitude I would want to live in, with this ideal temperature year-round
- autumn (love the colors and cooler temperatures, but it's also inevitably the start of a seasonal dying, which is the only downside)
- winter (I rarely ever see snow but it is mostly comfortable outside, and I do actually like a little bit of snow when it is out of the norm and not on the ground for months at a time, it's nice to watch it falling, like a rare treat)
- summer (in a cooler climate where you don't melt in summer, I would enjoy summer more and winter less, summer would be more spring-like)
