Autumn On My Street

I'm reminded of a Coach Tour we went on long ago, called "The Autumn Colours Tour". Just after starting out, going along the main motorway out of town, the driver spoke through the intercom and told us to take notice of the lovely autumn shades of the trees alongside the motorway.

"In fact, they are better than where we are going" he said!

I love the colours at this time of year 🙂

I’ve not noticed any trees changing much colour this year. Instead they have been green and are now gradually going bare. There has been a lot more rainfall than usual plus a storm or two. I love the trees in October every other year.

Best time of year. A street of mature maples is a joy to drive oe walk.
