Autumn walk today

@windinhishair i was lucky the sun came out a little to show them off. We've had nice days during the week when I'm stuck at work, but this is the 7th weekend in a row with rain in the forecast.

@robingoodfellow We've had rain every day since last weekend, and I just finished a walk in the rain. The leaves are past peak but there is no sun to view them in. That's OK--it can't be spectacular every year or we wouldn't appreciate it so much. Glad you had some sun to enjoy them.

@Piper I have friends in Florida who are always after me to move down there. But the seasons are too much a part of me. I can't imagine living without them.

@robingoodfellow I can certainly understand that. Although I happened to be born in Florida and then spend another part of my childhood in, it was not exactly my choice of a state to return to.

@ChadJNSD Been there late 70s at Ellsworth and you have those great Black Hills. , And back then I often stepped into the old style # 10 and I managed to pass through a painted door or two as well. Loved S.D.!!
