What's happening with all the rat poison moving up the food chain into human grade foods lately?

This is a sad disturbing fact, no doubt. While I have not heard of rat poison being in "human grade" foods lately, those who put rat poison around, sometimes even in contained spaces, do for sure harm or kill many creatures. Not just wildlife, but also people's animal companions.
