Pay for farm workers needs to increase.
Hired hands on farms are only making $14 per hour. Good luck surviving on that! The farmers then cry about how migrant farm workers get government handouts. Ok, then how about the farmers pay the first $14 per hour and we the people pay a matching $14 per hour. Would that cover basic medical, food, housing, transportation, and education? Something tells me that rural communities would be more accomodating if they want to draw in government money.
