What was it like growing up on a farm?

Parents lied a lot about this being our home and all, then we got to go to boarding school and they sold it. Mom was actually neutered when I got to visit the "new home". And I was raised to be so grateful, they needed me to understand that I wasn't getting fed except because they stooped to such levels.

Busy and hard but worth every second.
