Had a good walk, lemme tell you all about it, for it is filled to the brim with that ultra mundane wonder
I was to get a check up, and I got weighed, I remember being at least 30 pounds heavier last time I was weighed, so that was neat, so then the doc's second in command does the ole blood pressure thing and has that light to look in ears eyes and throat, but then the other doc the doc in command was a little upset that I didn't get my blood work done, I say to him look buddy I went to where you said to go right after we last met, and they said to go somewhere else, and so I just didn't do it, and so he's like look here punk, you got to get that done so we know you're ok, and then I say ok ok i'll do it sometime next week geez. ---- i'm livening up some of the dialogue to make it sound more interesting by the way.
Then I went to A&W and my burger fell apart, I refuse to eat a fallen apart burger in public, and my new meds was in a paper bag I need some sort of bag so at the thrift store, which is the gnarliest store in this whole town, it's like a real philanthropic place where people can find more than just cheap shoes and stuff, so I got a 5 dollar backpack, with so many zippers, with that on my back the walk back was heavenly reading Christopher Shield's book on Aristotle, and before that some Stephen Charnock. It's on the tip of my tongue as to verbalizing why that kind of literature is important to me, but if attempted now would be less than 50% accurate.
Warm weather by the way, is so good that when you pull a frozen Pepsi out of the freezer, it won't be long till it can be opened up without it exploding it's insect attracting syrupy essence all over the place.
And those last few words remind me of Urban Spaceman, a Bonzo song, that phrase goes like my natural exuberance spills out all over the place, just has a natural and slightly goofy flow to it. I love noticing little things like that, it is the ultra mundane way.
