Slavik and I layed down in the grass which is taller than me, and watched the sky for awhile, then closed our eyes. I love laying with my head on his chest. 🩵
The city is fun, but the natural world is my home. Somehow I've always been around nature, and even now that I live in small Ukrainian miner's town, I was given these abandoned old fields to explore, by a spirit watching over me, who knew I that need them. It is the same species of grasses, and it's the same scent in the air, that I knew when I was a child. All these places are the same place I grew up in.
I love everything about this. The doggo is adorable and aren't you afraid of ticks?the only reason I didn't sit down today and overall it's bc I'm afraid of ticks.
@greensnacks Koda takes Simparica so he's protected against ticks, and I don't think the type we have in these fields bite humans. They're quite large, so it's also very easy to see and feel them right away. They've never bitten us. That said, we don't sit in the grass when they're in season, because they're still gross lol.
@candycane We have a lot of ticks too, but the species in these fields don't seem to bite humans, at least they have not bitten us so far. They're quite large. Our dog takes Simparica which protects him from them. ^^
