Permafrost is melting. A lot of bacteria etc we haven't had for 10,000 years will be scary.
The people with money will be all over that. Destroying everything as they "extract resources" so they can have even more money.

There will be a ton of unknown or previously eradicated microorganisms - bacteria, viruses and fungi and that could have a devastating effect on our existing ecosystem as well as our health.
