dug a hole to burry the rat but started pulling briers and never got to it yet.. had to take a break to cool off 😳 might jump into the outdoor tub next time 😳😩😒
Last summer in the club shore side parking lot on a Friday afternoon where we keep the whaler I see a rat run across the parking lot... a mink was chasing it... The rat came within five feet of me where the Mink intercepted it and killed it in front of me and my Wife with a few bites to the back of the neck as it squealed... my Wife was very "impressed" with this episode of wild kingdom let me tell you... then the mink hauls off the rat across the parking lot presumably to have a Friday evening meal of RATatouille. Joke intended... The rat however was no longer laughing... Mink can come in very handy...
@pdqsailor1 ooo a wild mink. i had a pit bull once who use to dig up moles and crunch their skulls.. she was actually a sweet dog when she wasn't killing things tho 🤐 she was supposed to be cat friendly but she wasn't.. 🙁
Cats can come in pretty handy also... I actually like dogs like Sheppards, Dobermans and yes Pit Bulls.. to me they are working dogs and they serve a purpose.. I really love Dobermans...
@pdqsailor1 we used to have miniature pinchers .. min pins which are a toy breed of Dobermans. my hub likes German Sheppards as well but we live in a tiny house now with our two cat sizes yorkies.. they advantage of cats tho is that they don't bark and in some cases one never has to let them out.. unlike ours.. when i was a kid my fav dog was the cocker spaniel.. they are cute.. my one dog is kinda cute like them.. we originally got these dogs because we were dog sitting a really cute dog and wanted one like it so we bought our first dog online he was supposed to be a full bred yorkie but i find it a bit questionable because of his size he also barks like a maniac and because of him i had to build a fence around our door with some fencing my dad salvaged and some fencing i found on the side of the road.. i saw my dad do a chain linked fence when i was a kid so i remembered how to lace the chain together.. it's pretty easy ☺ we got our other dog from the neighbors down the rood whom my husband saw at the store one day with a yorkie puppies for sale sign on their car .. he asked the lady about them and she just happened to have one in her car and he just had to have her.. she was an adorable puppy and still is and doesn't bark like a maniac just barks normally at other stuff not at us like the other dog whom i constantly had to save from death threats of my hub who couldn't stand his constant high pitched barking.. the other dog has this really low growl bark which is funny for how tiny she is.. we had to let our pitbull go after she tried to kill her several times tho which was sad.. i was hoping they would rehome her as she's a super great guard dogs and is sweet otherwise she was nice to our other dog and all the puppies and the kids i babysit i guess she just got a grudge against our other lil dog and decided it was ok to kill her and kept trying till she almost did which was when we had to let her go unfortunately after she attacked her three times and we had to pry our other dog out of her jaw when she was trying to shake her to death 😐 really traumatized her 😐 she was a beautiful dog tho it was a pity she had a death streak regarding certain other animals tho i guess that's just how that breed is.. sweet but deadly too..
sigh that was them at our old house.. i had the older two on a run line together .. the other one was too tiny for it so i ended up leaving her off of it because they were to fast for her
that was my fav pic of her in the driveway with a rock in her mouth.. she's the one who used to dig up moles.. sigh i saw her dig one up on a walk down the road once it flew up with the dirt she was digging.. i didn't tell her cause i didn't want her to hurt it 😅 they are cute.. it was just on the side of the road.. it used to annoy me when we'd be on long walks and they'd want to stand around eating grass like cows our something !!! it was hot out i'd have to carry the little dog home sometimes cause he'd just wipe out on the side of the road and refuse to move anymore in retrospect he has a long fur coat and was provably way too hot out there anyway i'd hold him under one arm and walk home.. nowadays he just goes for his walk stops and stares at me when he wants to go home and we go home.. we went on much longer walks at our old house it was more country road out there woods and fields and wild turkeys and all .. our here it's all subdivided with wooded streets everywhere and houses scattered about at our old house our neighbor had a field of cows.. and there was a wild field of trees across the house
