Went to one of my favorite parks yest.

I was gonna mute it because of my heavy breathing from spring allergies, but the bird convinced me not to. 🥹 @mindstruggle

When it rains and her bark is wet, the smooth skin makes it easy to grip and hang and twist and turn on it. It feels like a hand holding you up.

Also, in the summer, cicadas leave their husks on her. My dream is to hold a live one someday, like your photo I saw a year or so ago. I think about it sometimes. That they don’t let just anyone find them, and they let you. @robingoodfellow

@soulrespite I looked it up. It's a Northern Cardinal. They don't live in Europe so they look and sound very exotic to me.
