The Sun Making it Rain

It snowed a good 5 inches last night and the sun was busy melting it away when we were on our way out late morning. Talk about a shower! My poor husband had to cut a tree out of the way that had fallen across the road. He had to stand right under that down pour.

But it was beautiful to watch. The snow melting, not my husband getting a cold shower! 😂

Use a long rope, hook it to the trailer hitch and drag it backwards to the side of the road.. Rope I carry - a chain saw ... I do not carry.. Yesterday it was warm here and a lot of the snow melted.. I had to find the catch basin in front of my Mother's house as the water there was four inches deep on the road... First hole I dug I found it then I had to chop a channel in the ice to let the water drain.. it went down the drain quickly and the pond emptied.. Snow is forecast along with ice pellets this afternoon..

@pdqsailor1 it was too big and long and wedged for our car to move. We have all of that as well. We actually have a "winter driving" bucket that lives in the car during the cold weather. It has tow straps, chains, cat litter. Rock salt, and a small collapsible shovel.
