the road rage moose

A road rage moment in rural Canada ended when a moose decided to step in.

A woman was driving through snowy backroads when a motorcyclist cut her off. She tapped the horn once. At the next red light, he turned around furious, shouting, pointing, flipping her off.

She froze, because the road suddenly wasn’t empty. From the snowbank beside the intersection, a massive bull moose stepped forward, calm and unmoved. In seconds, it charged. The motorcycle went down, skidding sideways as the rider scrambled to his feet.

The woman pulled over to check on him, but he was already back on his feet, still yelling. She left before things escalated again. Police later confirmed no charges were filed, no animals were harmed, and the moose simply walked back into the snow like nothing had happened.
Sometimes, even nature gets tired of bad behavior.

I can even see why this happened in nature. Aggression calls for bigger aggression in nature. There's not much that can stop an aggressive Moose.

Moose Behavior in Territorial Situations
Understanding Moose Reactions

Moose can be territorial, especially if they feel their space is being invaded. The aggressive yelling from the man may have startled or provoked the moose.
