What is the Walk for Peace?
The walk involves Buddhist monks traveling literally by foot across multiple states. Venerable Pannakara told CBS News that they are walking to promote peace, loving kindness, and compassion to all people. While this has been very physically arduous, the monks have been encouraged by the outpouring of support they have received along the way.
