Story time
It was a day like any other day, until i looked out the door. Raining it was, but mixed with the drops were also snowflakes. It was cold, it was wet, ideal weather for staying in bed. But i went to work and once i was done, so was the rain.
But on this day, a rainy snow day i decided to try something new. I drove for a while, mile after mile, till i reaches a forest near a river and a wood log pile. I parked there my car and went on my way. Step after step down a little path. I hear the drops falling from the trees, the leaves rustling in the wind, my steps on the wet ground and finally the sound of the river. I jump from the grass path surrounded by trees onto a riverside beach filled with stones.
Even in such meek weather nature looked beautiful. Breathing in that air made me feel great. A smell of the forest and river and rain. Pure nature.
In that moment i had a thought. A spontaneus random idea. My heart said to do it and my brain thought better not. But i did listen to my heart and moved further down the riverside beach. I looked left and right but no soul to see. Naturally so. Who would come to that remote place in such a weather i thought to myself unaware of the irony.
But on that riverside beach, surrounded by trees I found a dead log. I steeled my resolve and prepared myself for the cold. I looked around once more to see if im alone. No soul to see, no bird on a tree it was only me. I pulled down the zipper on my jacket and took it off. I hanged it on the wet dead log. Next i stepped out my shoes, removing the socks. The ground was cold and wet and filled with handsized rocks. I felt a rush, so i jumped out the jeans and the shirt too. Placing them on the log next to the jacket.
So there I was out on the wild, in a forest, by a river, on a autumn almost winter like day, wearing only a cap and my underpants.
I looked for my phone to place on the tree, with the camera i decided to capture me free. The timer was set, and i was ready. Well almost. Before the timer began, i made the last change. I pulled down the boxers and thats when i felt, the cold air and the breeze, how i felt free. A moment of pure harmony.
And then the phone has been pressed, the timer to start. I tumbled down the beach into the view to do my part. Rocks under my feet cold and uneven slightly covered with fallen leaves. I reached my spot and made a quick spin. The phone made its sound and the moment was caught. I rushed to my clothes and put them on quick. I covered my self to fight the shiver and cold. But it was worth it to capture me so bold.
After all that I walked to my car step after step. I drove to my home mile after mile, with a slight smile. On this normal day.
