I do too. Around here unless you have a good clean trail you better wait till it’s cold weather due to snakes. One time when I was a young teen my sister and I decided to explore the small patch of woods was behind our rural home. It was winter so we felt safe. Found a one- foot cedar tree that we dug up and planted in the yard next to the road. It grew huge and can still see it on Google Earth. Also found a wild passion fruit last one time. Picked the flower.
@cherokeepatti I just love these type of stories. Do you have a picture of it? That is so awesome. I'm glad you didn't find any snakes. I bet it's beautiful and I can't believe you can still see it on Google Earth. That's exciting.

@LadyGrace One time my sister and I were wanting to blow up red ant hills with firecrackers on the 4th of July. We stepped over our neighbors barb wire fence and it was next to the woods. We got the firecrackers and were dropping them on the ant beds and popping them. Heard something walking up behind us and it sounded like our Siamese cat. Called her name and turned around and it was a skunk. We screamed and tore out of there, fortunately the skunk didn’t spray us (it was close too). I think the skunk was just curious about the firecrackers going off and walked up to check it out. 😂

@LadyGrace Another time we saw the neighbors son that pasture. He was holding a coffee can. My sister asked him “Hey Jody, what do you have in your can?” He said “ Baby copperheads” He had been catching baby copperheads 😳. He was about 11 years old.
@cherokeepatti Wow 😆 🤣 😂 so dangerous. I love your stories.
@cherokeepatti oh I love that story about the skunk hahaha I was laughing my head off.
