Major life changes coming from now well into in 2026. I want to take a trip alone afterward to decompress and clear my head after the ordeal of it all. I love mountains .. I love the ocean /beaches. Trip is very likely to need to push into 2027.

I've come to realize I don't want thousands of people everywhere I go. I've got some ideas .. open to suggestions. If you choose "Other" .. tell me where in the comments.

(Have been to most of the top Natl Parks in western US aside from those in states of WA and AK)

Arctic Circle sounds awesome. The rest seems more mainstream/touristy

@faery Yeah .. some compromise needed for activities if beaching. Scuba diving is very good in those Island spots .. a bucket list item I might put up with more people around to get to do.

@BrandNewMan It all depends on what you want to do most, ultimately. I live in a sub-tropical environment full of tourists so I'm obviously biased, lol

@faery Thanks for that. St John looks a bit less crowded option if in a condo and maybe shoulder season if going Island/ diving .. but no doubt AK even less so
