@Rickichickie it was fun. i was there in october 1989 to october 1990 from when the wall was coming down but never made it to berlin. hamburg is a cool city with the reeperbahn. i managed to see a champions league game with fc porto visiting...oh man was that ever a cold night but a very cool experience. i loved munich (where mom and dad were married) i still have family in northern germany but haven't been in contact with them for a long time... 😥....my other side of the family are austrian (mom born in vienna) which is another beautiful city...i haven't been back there in almost 35 years....i really need to get back to my heritage one day

@beermeplease yes, please visit Hamburg, Munich and Vienna again. Live is so short and before you know it, you‘re too old or too ill to travel.
One of my husband‘s brothers lived in Hamburg and we visited him a few times.
He was member of the squatter scene and the black sheep of the family.
He made it into a book because he was there when they fought the police successfully back in the 80s
