@kodiac this is my son that we lost on June 11th... nearly 17 and not nearly enough .. my best friend in he world... Smart, handsome, magnificent fellow - I loved him to bits... and always will too...
this guy.. has been with us for 24 hours.. and he has learned to play ball with me already.. Really good dog... and I know what a really good dog is...
@kodiac We had four.. lost two.. now we have three. a pack is good for them and ... good for us too.... this little guy is insane crazy smart.. tonight he was campaigning to get out of his bed and into ours.. but we can't because its too high and when he falls off he could get injured.. He does not care. He wants UP on the bed with us.. I have to take his bed down to the boat with us tomorrow afternoon.. .. and its the same issue there - the bunks are too high to have him sleep with us ... because when he falls off and down.. he could be injured.. This little guy is stubborn smart and in a huge hurry to grow up... The last time I saw a dog this smart was Nick.. 24 hours in he has imprinted on me like a tattoo.. Nick taught me how to speak fluent canine.. Max figured that part out immediately.. HEY YOU SPEAK DOG... You Mr....... are MINE..
@pdqsailor1 same issue with the bed dozer insists on sleeping with me i got a set of steps so he can get up and down . I also had a spaniel mix she passed a year ago they were inseparable he still looks for her
@kodiac We lost two of our four.. recently Nick who was my first.. so Max is good for both of the two... its natural for them to be in a pack.. Later when he is bigger he will be welcome in our bed but not now as he could get injured if he fell off.. On the boat - his first trip.. he has been good as gold.. they all have been great..
