We have those around here occasionally. They can be shot on sight in Texas. They cause serious problems with livestock and game animals. The state will send out professional trappers if they are needed.

@TexChik oh not here unless you catch them actually going after your livestock. Otherwise you guys wait for hunting season in the winter

@cheyster There is no closed season for lion in Texas. They are not hunted here as much as managed
