Right on. Not sure if you're hiking but the Green Creek Trail to Green Lake and West Lake leaves from the campground there. That area is awesome. And it's so accessible from Bridgeport and the 395. I did the Matterhorn loop from Twin Lakes once, which is pretty close to there, and it was the one of the best trips I've ever had. The Eastern Sierra is nothing but eye candy. Best hiking and backpacking of anywhere in the state IMO. Particularly around this time of year through Sept. Hope it's been a good one.Happy Trails.

I dayhiked West Lake.(killer)
Packed Green and went up to Virginia Pass.
Also dayhiked Burro Pass - looking down at lots of this.

It is one of my favorite areas.slso
Would like to go up for color in a month or so but probably won't make it this year. 😥.
