Better watch it bites

The famous T-Rex cactus in the desert of Arizona, United States.

This saguaro cactus that has grown in the shape of a T-Rex dinosaur is located next to the Superstition Mountains, just outside Phoenix, Arizona.

However, it is said that it is not easy to find if someone does not know its exact location as there are thousands of other cacti surrounding this particular one. Many hikers may just walk right past the T-Rex cactus without even noticing it!

Saguaro cactus can grow from 3 –16 m (10–52 ft) tall, and have an average lifespan of about 150-200 years, though, they have a slow growth.

It can take between 20 and 50 years for a saguaro to reach a height of 1 m (3 ft 3 in). The tallest saguaro ever recorded measured 78 ft tall, but unfortunately it was knocked down during a windstorm in 1986.
