So many. You pick. 🤷🏻‍♂️

All in the San Jacinto mountain range of southern California, USA.

@DeWayfarer Right on. San Jacinto is beautiful range. I live in the San Bernardino's next door and recognized the geography immediately. The tram from Palm Springs goes through four ecological zones up to the summit. That's wild. Not many places can say that.
Here's the north face of San Gorgonio after yesterday's sunset. Last SoCal snow of the year. It'll be back but not soon enough.

@Ynotisay I am just right south of you!

South east side of San Jacinto range.

Don't have a clear shot of San Gorgonio. Yet this is closest east I have. You'll certainly recognize the area.

@Ynotisay And a gif I created from a mp4 looking down from Mtn Santa Rosa!

@DeWayfarer Right on. It's a beautiful mountain. Really different from the north and south sides. I've been up to the summit coming from the north side but haven't done Vivien Creek trail from the south. I'd like to some day.

@Ynotisay when I was eight my father and I hiked from Idlewild to the tram back in the late 60's! The tram was new then!

@DeWayfarer Cool GIF. I've only been there once and it was a long time ago. That's one of the cool SoCal spots where you can drive (with the right vehicle) and get up pretty high for some big views. I don't think many associate SoCal with real mountains. They should because we have them. 👍

@DeWayfarer Oh that must have been cool. That's an historic tram. I always thought it would be fun to work at the top and watch people coming from 70 degree weather and getting off when it's 30. :)

@Ynotisay the first three images in first comment was near Cahuilla mountain near Anza. I lived there for twelve years!

@Ynotisay Cahuilla mountain

@DeWayfarer Nice. Haven't been there. Not a lot of time in the Riverside County area but there's a lot of protected land there. California gets it right when it comes to public land. My guess, although I could be wrong, is that it might be a hotbed for cougars. Seem to be a little more active in that general area.

@Ynotisay oh yes. Though we call them mountain lions! Same cat though! 😊

Cougars is reserved for middle aged women here!🤣

@DeWayfarer I go with cougars. Definitely not puma or panther. That's Eastern talk. :)

@Ynotisay Added edit! 🙃😊
