Nudi warning...

These are Spanish shawl nudis. Nudibranch (nudis) are some of the most beautiful sea creatures. They are in the gastropod family, and come in a vast array of colors and features.

I was fortunate enough to see Spanish shawl nudis in the Santa Barbara aquarium. It was my lucky day. 💜

I've been a keen scuba diver since my teens. Pretty much every diver that I've ever met gets blown away by nudibranchs (not heard them called nudis before but it's a cool name).

Very hard to see in the wild because they are so small. But, if you're lucky enough to spot one, they are gorgeous little creatures.

Personally, I prefer the bigger ocean dwellers. Sharks and rays are always number one on my wish list of things to see. Dolphins etc are a very close second.
