Before the setting sun, off the beaten path, the woodlands open up to this picturesque scene. I can do nothing more than point my camera in a salute to their pause in the cool pure stream.

@Autumnglow: Yes, it looks beautiful. I have read that the Smoky Mountains are tremendously beautiful. I might have to visit them one day. My only trip to the US was to the Great Plains (South Dakota).
