As Mine tunnels go

This one is safe and easy. No holes in the floor or winzes to fall into. No open stopes above you caving in. Its in solid granite.

Extensive single level Mine. Couple of drifts following veins of copper and silver ore. Anything else they found they discarded out of the tunnel. In a huge pile of waste rock tumbling down the mountain. Thats where you find some good crystals and rocks. If it didnt have the precious metal they wanted it was tossed out.

I’ve found a bunch of garnets in the tellings of an abandoned mine close to me. It’s amazing what they discarded in these old mines

@HeavenBesideYou Maybe not but youve got plenty of other stuff to find. Ive got to travel a few hours to get garnets. And even then they arent all that great. Biggest is about a quarter inch across.
