My home is on a lightly traveled dirt rode within 600 acres of preserved land and wildlife management area. It's a diverse ecosystem that's used for fishing, hunting, bird watching, hiking...and emptying out the basement. 'I need to get rid of my garbage so I'll throw it in my truck and dump it somewhere in the middle of the night where it's not my problem anymore.'
@Miram 10,000 hearts to you and thank you for your work cleaning the forest. It shouldn't have to be that way but sadly people like you that care end up picking up after the trash who leave the trash behind.
People can be so offensive. When I hike, I pick up litter. It is so disgusting what people throw away. My parents owned a farm and often found garbage along their property. My mom would pick through it; call the people up; and threaten to call the police. People always came to pick it back up. People also dumped unwanted cats and dogs too. It makes me wonder what their homes are like.
