I finally got out for a big hike with my teenage boy this summer. Finishing school had kept him busy and the weather had been poor until last week. We did not get into the alpine, but luckily the views were beautiful and the forest provided a few things along the way to eat. Now, we’re just waiting for the wild blueberries to mature and then we can see if we can get some before the bears eat them all.

Wild strawberries are great , raspberries and blueberries are great also I like blackberries but not as well and many more munchables as you walk along. Looks like a beautiful place . Here I love having a snack along the way when going fishing or just hiking You are very lucky to have nature all around you.
