A baby seagull which fell out of its nest a few days back is still alive....

I thought a neighbourhood cat would have got it by now but it is a little too big for a domesticated cat to have a go at I guess plus the mother is fiercely protective and is constantly swooping down upon any creature that enters the baby seagulls vicinity.

Some of the neighbours have actually put out food for the baby seagull (but other seagulls come down and eat the food lol seagulls are the spawn of the devil).

I don't have to go to work today so I'll be able to spectate on this archetypal template of maternal impotence against the back drop of a pitiless uncaring universe all day long.
How old is the baby?
If it can't fly yet, it will certainly die unless rescued.
If you want to rescue it, ask the advice of a local wildlife rescue service. They might even do it for you.

@hartfire I don't know how old it is but it's still grey which means it's young.

I'm not sure if it's gonna die now, I think that it would have happened by now.

I think if it survives it will be malajusted though.
@GeraldVeritasSeeker
Malajusted - maybe. Any animal can be. But seagulls' instincts are extremely strong.

How do you feel about calling the local wildlife rescue?
