They are so elegant. We have a few couples that like to stop by the farm lake on their way migrating. They are not the friendliest of birds. They prefer a small cove by the marsh, and they do not like visitors. They run off the ducks and the geese and the herons. When I am in the boat fishing and happen upon their little spot they act so indignant. And its amazing how all those little ones can disappear under their momma's wings. So I do try not to disturb them, if I see them I fish somewhere else.
