Fields of Dreams

The land is lush
The skies so blue
My heart doth gush
At all that is new

Grain reaches up
Toward the sun
With open cup
Longing for raindrop fun

Breezes tickle my beard
And ruffle the grasses
Supremely geared
To feed the hungry masses

Golden meadows carpet the land
My eyes sparkle at the sight
These vistas are so grand
My heart doth take flight

Oh, I do not care. I have not yet quit my day job! It is an OK poem, I wrote it fast so it could be better. I mostly just wanted to share photos.

I am sitting on a picnic table now in the shade (it is in the upper 80's) outside a gas station. I am eating a gas station "Italian style" sub, and an apple fritter.

I can see those mountains on the horizon. I feel so content.
🤩 Sounds divine…stay blessed man….wow! @JoyfulSilence

I feel like I am back on staycation again.

Gosh, when I move to the desert someday, I am going to miss the green lands.

Maybe I need two houses.
