I Celebrate the Arrival of Spring

The Warmth of Spring

After her long dormancy
throughout the frigid winter,
she awakens languidly,
gently roused by the warm rays of the spring sun.

She shyly reveals her treasures,
long hidden beneath her cloak of sparkling white.

And I must rouse myself and answer her call.
