The sun and the moon

As a late October sun was preparing to set, off to the east, a hunter’s moon was to rise.

I caught this shot of sunset and suddenly the moon popped out.

@kodiac Years ago in Texas I took an image on slide film, where at the upper left hand corner was a crescent moon. The lower right hand corner had a setting sun. The sky was a bunch of color!
