For those of you following the progress of my lemon tree (grown from a supermarket lemon seed), here is the latest. I still can’t believe that it’s actually sprouted and growing in the U.K. They’re not supposed to grow here! 🍋 🇬🇧 🥰

@meggie I can’t believe it that this one is growing! I planted a load of pepper seeds as well, and they’re producing fruit now. I know nothing about gardening. I just like planting stuff and seeing what happens 😂
@Oneofthestormboys I love gardening. You are doing well with the peppers. I've never had much luck with peppers. Please keep us updated with the lemon.
@meggie I wish I had your knowledge (or any knowledge about anything for that matter 😂). It’s still doing alright from when I took the photo. How often do you want me to let you know? 😂
@Oneofthestormboys I used to have to help my granny in the garden so learnt off her. She had a huge fruit and vegetable garden. You can Google stuff too and learn.
@meggie It’s very fulfilling and rewarding isn’t it? I just do it by trial and error mostly - I even had to check online to make sure it was a lemon tree and not some sort of weed! Are you going to have a go at growing one?
@Oneofthestormboys no I have nowhere to put it as the garden is full of fruit trees, vegetabke patches and flowers. But if I had a spare corner I would.
@meggie If this one survives, I’m going to keep it pruned as a bush and keep it inside I think. Someone told me that if they’re caught up in temperatures of zero or less then they die…
