@Fungirlmmm We made up for it that weekend, but nice of you to say. I was in the Army for 12 years so I've missed every special day possible, but it's the memories you make not the date on the calendar! 😘

@madmax83 I agree. I dated a soldier for a long time so I understand the missed holidays.

@madmax83 I used to talk to many of them. Some never came home. What did you do in the Army?

@Fungirlmmm Infantry the first 6ish years, then moved to Motor Transport later on. Most of my career I spent in some form of Ops though. I've been a Truck Master, Operations NCO, Force Readiness NCO. The last job I had was acting 1SG for a BSB HQ.
