What utter tosh.
Under the 1951 treaty (amended 2004), the status of Greenland and its security is already the subject of agreement between the US and Greenland. Nothing has changed since then, except for the accession of the orange moron to the US presidency.
Greenland is also a member of NATO so is protected by Article 5.
Trump's nonsense is nothing to do with common sense, but populism appealing to his hard-of-thinking MAGA supporters.

A 75 year old event and other dust covered no longer relevant relics need updating. Denmark is toothless and in the way.
You’re low or no information. Go ahead and be lazy and just listen to the little bit the dims and MSM tell you. If you’re a US citizen you’ll benefit despite yourself.

@danielsnyder Hmm. Low information? So writes the MAGAmoron who believes that 2004 is 75 years ago.
Greenland - outside the context of the treaty and wider NATO - is no business of Trump's.
I posted the actual 2004 treaty from the State Department website. Is that MSM?
I am not - thank my lucky stars - a US citizen.
Should California be French? If not, why not?

@danielsnyder so if a 75 year old document is irrelevant, then how much more irrelevant is a 250 year old document?

@danielsnyder By your logic that “Declaration of Independence” is well past its sell-by date and should be revoked.
Welcome back to the UK! We don’t do Presidents so he can just go away.
