Or do you mean re-instate the Berlin Wall etc.? I gather the US has some practical experience in building physical frontiers, more recent than the Soviets' efforts.
Oh - and I expect Vladimir would be happy to take back Alaska on favourable terms such the USA letting him build a submarine base on Greenland. (Canada not included 'cos Donald wants her and might need build an ice-golf resort on Baffin Island for when Marred Lego is in the path of a hurricane.)
